Personal Narrative:
       - The first event I attended with SCC was the Spring Festival 4 in Irvine. We had a
great turnout that day, and I met a lot of great guys and gals. I remember my
car was the only one with the mesh grille which made it stand out. We need to
have a bigger showing at the LX Spring Festival 5. Other events I have been at
are the SP/SCC Lunch Cruise to Tom’s Farm, and the MOPARS at CSDR in
Riverside. Coming from a MOPAR family, it only made sense that I buy the new
Challenger. My youngest (but not younger) brother and I bought our NEW
Challengers on the same day – 31 Jan 2009. The day before the Steelers won
their 6th Super Bowl. I got a 2008 SRT Silver (all options), and he got a 2009
         RT Hemi Orange 6 speed.

After high school I owned a 1974 Challenger (318 cid). I replaced the 318 with
a 383 out of a 1969 Chrysler Newport. That car was fast (135 mph), but not as
fast as my SRT. The first car a turned a wrench on was a 1954 Desoto with a
Firedome Hemi. Most memorable MOPAR growing up was the family's 1924
Dodge Brothers Touring. A 4 door ragtop with a 4 cylinder flathead, crank start
and OOOHGAAA horn. Last I heard, the car is sitting in a museum in Ohio.
